Nihilism

DEFINITION

The word “nihilism” comes from nihil, a Latin root means nothing or that which does not exist. It is a perception of no creator, the rejection of religious or moral principles. The most important perception about nihilism is, nihilists believe we come from nothingness and return to nothingness after we die. Probably because of that, nihilists will regard lives as meaningless.

ANALYSES

The perception of nihilism is dangerous. To nihilists, we come from nothingness and will return to nothingness after we die. Therefore nihilists will reject all forms of afterlife. When nihilists face critical moment in life, they’re more likely to commit suicide just to free themselves from the painful situations.
